Member Highlight – Agent: Leah Ellis

Leah Ellis, Executive Assistant – Land Title Company of Alabama Assistant Executive Director, LTAAL

Please meet Leah Ellis. She is a new member and our association’s Assistant Executive Director. Leah is our website administrator and handles the back office for our association. She brings her title insurance and her executive assistant experience to work for our association and our industry. She’s doing a great job with our website and newsletters too. Leah joined Land Title Company of Alabama at the young age of 18. Her first job was scanning in old files into their computer system. After a couple short months of doing that, she was asked to join their Posting Department. She was then tasked with reviewing documents recorded at the Jefferson and Shelby County courthouses and posting them into Land Title’s own system. After 8 years in the Posting Department, she transitioned into their Customer Service Department. It was there she started forming relationships with realtors, closing attorneys, and lenders. After another 8 years in customer service, Leah was asked to become an assistant in their Legal Department. She is now currently an Executive Assistant, working side by side with their in house general counsel, Amy Niesen. She has just started the beginning of her 20th year with Land Title. In Leah’s down time, she enjoys going to concerts. She has one daughter who is currently in college and has 3 fur babies. Leah looks forward to meeting you at our February conference.
