News from the Abstractor Apprenticeship Committee

Craig and Theresa Bayer with TMB Title as well as Edgar Black with Black & Hughston had a great time attending the Bob Jones High School Career Expo on April 24th. They were able to engage with students and share insights into the possibilities of pursuing a career in title abstracting. They also shared information about the new Abstractor Apprenticeship Program being promoted by LTAAL. They had several teachers stop by the booth. The teachers expressed great interest in the apprenticeship program. Craig and Theresa are attending another Career Expo sponsored by Huntsville City Schools later in May. They are helping to spread the word and spark interest in our title industry and specifically a career in title abstracting.
Please let Anna Batten (Battena@ctt.com) know if you would like to host an intern this summer to introduce them to a career in abstracting. We look forward to introducing more young adults to our great title industry.
